• Improved foam technology cuts through moderate surface defects with less swirls Reduced operating temperature 6″ pad size reduces chatter resulting in smooth, easy buffing Recessed backing for easy centering For use with rotary polisher and WRBP or WRSBP backing plate
  • RUPES’ expanded resin foam polishing pads are specially designed for the random orbital polishing system. They produce excellent results with substantial time saving and reduced compound consumption. BigFoot’s random orbital movement creates high mechanical stresses on the foam polishing pads, generating an increase in internal temperature. The innovative “open cell” structure of the BigFoot foam polishing pads prevents the build-up of heat generated during the polishing process. In addition, this particular structure guarantees maximum efficiency in the polishing process with minimum downward vertical pressure from the operator. The center hole creates superior ventilation and heat dispersion through special channels in the backing pad. The innovative design of the truncated cone shape optimizes the performance of the large diameter orbit, and at the same time protects against accidental contact between the backing pad and the work surface.
  • Foam Polishing Pad – The polishing pad has a less dense consistency capable of removing light swirls and oxidation when used with a light swirl remover or fine polish.
  • Foam Finishing Pad – The finishing foam pad is very soft and has no leveling ability. Use this pad to apply waxes, sealants, and glazes and produce a high gloss shine.

  • Description Meguiars DA Foam Discs are ultra-thin foam pads that are designed for swirl and scratch removal, general polishing and waxing with a dual action polisher, like the Meguiars G110v2. Low profile design (11/16th of an inch) allow for better power transfer from the tool to the paint. This equals more cut along with a better feel through the tool, optimizing results. Meguiars DA Foam Discs hold a significant advantage over thicker foam pads because less power is needed from your dual action polisher to efficiently rotate each pad. This enables your dual action polisher to produce better results in less time. Less mass = more efficient pad rotation from your dual action polisher. Meguiars DA Foam Discs are available in three foam varieties: Foam Cutting Pad – The cutting pad is made of a dense but flexible foam capable of removing moderate swirls, scratches, and oxidation. It should be used with a swirl remover for the best results. Foam Polishing Pad – The polishing pad has a less dense consistency capable of removing light swirls and oxidation when used with a light swirl remover or fine polish. Foam Finishing Pad – The finishing foam pad is very soft and has no leveling ability. Use this pad to apply waxes, sealants, and glazes and produce a high gloss shine. Meguiars DA Foam Discs rotate better on a DA Polisher to improve resultsIf you’re a professional detailer, it’s helpful to have fresh pads on hand for large detail jobs. Cutting and polishing pads, in particular, may require more frequent pad changes due to paint transfer. To maximize the performance of each pad, use a Foam Pad Conditioning Brush after each panel. This nylon bristle brush will safely remove spent product residue, increasing the performance and extending the life of your foam pads. For best results, Meguiars 6 Inch DA Foam Discs should only be used with the Meguiars DBP6 6 Inch Backing Plate.

  • About the Rupes Wool Pad Rupes Blue Coarse Wool Polishing Pad is designed to work with the Rupes Big Foot Polisher. The Rupes Blue Coarse Wool Polishing Pad is designed for removing heavy swirl marks, swirl marks and oxidation from any color paintwork. The cutting version features a short and dense wool with foam backing and is perfect for use with heavy cutting polishing compound. The special combination of wool and foam allows for the true correction power of the product used and for maximum product coverage to achieve the highest quality results on ceramic lacquer. Follow these tips for better results with wool pads - Periodically check the pad during the polishing process. - Clean the pad when the pad surface begins to glaze over from polish build up. - We also recommend washing or spurring the pad prior to storing for future use. - Never use a screwdriver, fork or other stationary "tool" to spur a pad. This promotes the untwisting of the tufts and may damage the pad's backing. - We recommend using our PAD CONDITIONING BRUSH cleaning tool. - After washing, do not dry pads with high heat as this promotes wool shrinkage. - Let pads air dry or spin them using the buffer. - Keep pads in a clean location when not being used. This will minimize foreign particles from coming in contact with the buffing surface the next time you use the pad.
  • Completely new foam formulations specifically optimized for rotary application. The system includes 3 type of foam pads designed to give the operator choices depending on the desired outcome. Open cell foam materials were chosen to minimize excessive heat. The pad profile helps to prevent accidental contact between the backing plate and the panel. The new foam Rotary Polishing Pad range features 3 foam types with 25mm thickness for each pad version available in 5”, 6”, or 7” inch pad sizes: Blue foam pad for aggressive processes Yellow foam pad for finishing processes White foam pad for fine imperfections and dark colours, and high gloss finish
